i don't get it. What's so hard about this?

Heteronyms aren't that bad. French orthography is weird, though.

I'm a native speaker and a few sentences tripped me up at first, but most I was able to read correctly the first try because of context. Like it wouldn't make sense to say "the bandage was wound" but "the bandage was wound" makes complete sense so even though "wound" and "wound" are homonyms, it was very easy to tell which word was being used where in the sentence.

based kikess shitting on white people on her way out the door, all is right with the world

Is this really unique to English though?

It’s a cute filler article from a magazine or newspaper. Now people will proceed to treat it like it’s a fucking philosophical essay on language.

Or some hateful political screed. Non stop mental illness.

Have you ever stopped to consider that perhaps you are mentally ill? That people's natural reactions to things are true expressions of the soul and they trump your smug irony poisoned cynical church of reddit? No?

>OP can't read the bullet points

At no point during learning did I encounter "hard" sentences like these. Homonyms, heteronyms, etc have literally no effect on the difficulty of learning English.
>>24938386
Of course not, Slavic languages have plenty of these too.
>>
>>24938332
anyone put this into their own writing to throw off jeets?
>>
>>24938505
That's tedious when you just write characters with morals.

>I'm a native speaker and a few sentences tripped me up at first,
Lol you're not a native English speaker if you struggled with that.
