Extremely repetitive question, but: If I liked pic related a lot, what do I read next? What's similar to these? The Recognitions? The Tunnel?

>>24940394Try the authors there. Geez.17 years of this same shit?
>>24940394Here’s an absolutely insane idea: try reading something because it looks fun and stop reading what you’re supposed to based on cringe online lists. God you people make reading such a soulless Reddit checklist
>>24940409>i havent read any of them but want to participate to feel smart anyway
>>24940394Read OuLiPian and ergodic literature
>>24940394>The Recognitions?Yes>The Tunnel?No
>>24940409>OP enjoys those three (superficially) similar novels>asks for recommendations similar to them>"HURR DURR READ WHAT'S FUN!! YOU'RE ONLY PRETENDING TO LIKE THIS!!"you sound like a massive fucking faggot
>>24940487I heckin LOVE reading. I ONLY read the best. Unless it’s a preapproved three of the most highly regarded books of all time according to a jpg online I AINT readin’ it!
>>24940394Reverend Insanity

>>24940749R3ad lectures on literature by nabikov and read whatever he recommends. Also read nabokov
>>24940394I read IJ and I'm reading GR now. How did you find the difficulty of ulysses in comparison to GR?
>>24940838Not OP, but I found GR to be harder than Ulysses on average, but Ulysses had bigger spikes in difficulty.
>>24940842Guns, Germs, SteelMichelle Obama's memoir A rubix cube
>>24940838ulysses is way harder. oxen of the sun is 99% impenetrable. ulysses is more fun to read but keeping up with the 18 different styles makes the book much more challenging if you really want to comprehend as much as possible
>>24940896The only really hard chapters are Proteus and Oxen. Maybe Penelope.>inb4 SirensOnly the opening of the chapter is weird, everything else in it is normal-ish.
>>24940904i dont consider proteus or penelope difficult, maybe monologues aren't for you
>>24940749Go back to those books and read them again until you're able to sus out a path. Come on, man.
Nope, that's it, you're done literature
>>24941210>tfw bubba gives you his bubbly bubba
>>24940838Ulysses expects you to have a classical education, GR is mostly comedy routines and "what is we only, like, die because They want us to, man. Ever think of that? You could choose Immortality but you're too afraid. . ." stoner babble

Maybe mason and dixon?>>24940409Nothing wrong with taking inspiration from a place where he knows that people have finished the books he specifically mentioned and is looking for inspiration.
Get some DeLillo into your collection. I like White Noise and Ratner's Star. The Crying of Lot 49 is also good for more Pynchon And I've never met a DFW book I didn't like. Maybe devour his whole catalog while you're at it.
