>>24945570"Slanderer" is just a bad translation of ha-Satan, or Diabolos, more accurately (and typically) rendered The Accuser. Basically, it refers to the Adversary's role as the prosecutor of Mankind in the court of God, as it were. If once you understand this, the entire knot is dissolved; there doesn't need to be an act of slander because that's not the role being described.
