Are there any librarians or library assistants here? How did you get your job? I want to be a library assistant but Ive found it difficult to find a job.

>>24949864What, not allowed near schools? It's a fun gig and if you're naive, like I was at the time, you can go through the days thinking you're fostering a child's appreciation for literature. Then of course depending on your school district quality you learn how many kids are below reading level and wind up checking out 2nd Grade books to 4th graders because that's all they can parse. At least then you won't have to deal with the homeless.
