Is it at all possible to have a character in literature whose name starts with "Dark" without them coming across as painfully tryhard?Like, pic related. Darkstar in ASOIAF is universally acknowledged as a doofus and one of GRRM's worst decisions in the latter half of the extant books. I've never encountered a character whose named started with the word "Dark" that it was possible to take seriously. Maybe I'm just reading the wrong books.
