I think it's impossible to make money off of sharing abstract knowledge. Can you prove me wrong?Because I've tried to make money off talking about philosophy and its just futile. I thought of the 48 laws of power for instance and then I realized that book is just obvious hot garbage.I thought of so many other things like economists, internet bloggers, and even psychologists. And they're all either just spewing lies and falsehoods, writing a whole load of useless filler, or making money in some weird abusive way like taking taxpayer dollars, embarrassing college campus kids or something like that.I think if I could go back in time with the best writing possible, I couldn't convince anyone that the Earth revolves around the sun in a way that makes me money...
>>24952773>He doesn't know about markets>I thought of so many other things like economists, internet bloggers, and even psychologists. And they're all either just spewing lies and falsehoods, writing a whole load of useless filler, or making money in some weird abusive way like taking taxpayer dollars, embarrassing college campus kids or something like that.Yeah dumbass. You see people prepared to throw money for some reason and you take that from them, you don't 'sell', its not on your impulse but theirs, you just take it from them.
>>24952785You write like a rude weirdo and its literally indecipherable what you're saying
>>24952773>I thought of so many other things like economists, internet bloggers, and even psychologists. And they're all either just spewing lies and falsehoods, writing a whole load of useless filler, or making money in some weird abusive way like taking taxpayer dollars, embarrassing college campus kids or something like that.that's the economy
>>24952790>and its literally indecipherable what you're sayingAre you sure you read?My point is that you have to determine where and for what reason people will be splurging, and make honing in on that an important part of your work because that /is/ your work now. This is not a deviation, it isn't thinking like a salesman or marketer or merchant class, an extra job that you have take up, but this is integral to the value of your work. Either you are lucky to find yourself standing on something aligned to succeed and don't have to think about it or you don't and realize you'll have to actively work out something that is satisfactory.
>>24952816Don't care not reading troll go away
>>24952790If you can't decode that maybe you aren't cut out to "transmit abstract ideas"
>>24952818Go away troll(s) I'm not saying anymore about this trolling
>>24952773I think it's impossible to make money in general. I just can't seem to do it no matter what I do. Sucks not being from a decent family who can set you up with a bullshit "job".
>>24952840>wah wah my family didn’t give me handouts Shut up faggot. Make some money like a man.
>>24952773>I think it's impossible to make money off of sharing abstract knowledge. Can you prove me wrong? There are many people who make a living solely from technical blogs
>>24952773It's not impossible because people have done it and still do it. What you mean is: it's very hard, and a lot of factors go into it. Yes, indeed. That's not a particularly unique insight.
>>24952773the only way to make money through mere knowledge (so not skill e.g knowing how to do x but rather knowing that x) is through deceit and corruption, see charles ponzi and wallace fard muhammad or joseph smith.
>no tomoko gfWhy do I even bother
>>24952876Technical is not abstract
>>24952895If you gave an example it would be someone making money through other means than being abstract, I gaurantee
>>24953585>technical is not abstract
>>24953764It's not though. There's nothing abstract about engineering or computer hardware for instance because its all very obvious and proven
>>24952895There's no shame in working a wagie job to fund your passions
>>24953765>There's nothing abstract about engineering or computer hardware for instanceIf you're a low level grunt perhaps but everyone senior level and above is dealing with (or should be dealing with) team organization and design philosophy. Also, you think math isn't abstract?
>>24952773I don't really give a shit, personally
>>24953779It depends. After a certain point, absolutely math is not abstract. And my intuition tells me all the money made off abstract maths is funded by taxdollars and universities, or makes no money at all
>>24952785Retard. The money thrown from the "abstract knowledge" is taken from theirs, not yours. This reason is prepared from those very people's impulses that you take. But I doubt you have the reading comprehension to understand what I just said.
>>24952773What are you talking about? The act of knowledge labor definitely involves "abstract knowledge sharing" to varying degrees. I get the feeling that you don't really understand what a commodity is though, because in order to exchange this knowledge sharing for money you have to make a commodity out of it.
