>>24964802It's just a book about the Korean War. Summary thus far is:1.Douglas MacArthur was a narcissistic fucking nutjob high on his own farts2.The US army committed into Korea was the worst trained, equipped and laziest that she's ever committed to ear, possibly ever.3.Nobody really knows why Kim Il Sung started the war, the Russians were bemused participants, weren't totally committed to the struggle.
>>24964816>ear*war

>>24964799opie so frickin cute
I read 30-50 pages a day on average, I didn't clock myself but I would say it's 1.5-2 minutes per page, in other words I get a fair hour of daily reading among other activities as a minimum and so far I'm happy with the result. The long term objective is to replace mindless internet garbage consumption with reading (both technical and non-fiction).I recently finished Don Quixote, probably the most pleasureable read of this year, already started Moby Dick.
>>24964799Unironically good shit. That's more than most people
