My 16 books finished have 1,000x the quality between them than all 120 of her books.

Why do women only read fiction?
>>
>>24975985
Women live in a fantasy world. The real world gives them the ick.

Whatever the reason it is a mark in their favor because so-called non-fiction is for pseudos.

I read 12 books this year!
>Elementary Particles
>The Iliad
>Notes from The Underground
>Beyond Good and Evil
>The Antichrist
>Shadow Ticket
>The Secret Agent

I read How to Win Friends and Influence People but it didn't work.
>>
>>24975985
a lot of non-fiction (and fiction for that matter) is incredibly off-putting to modern women for obvious reasons
goes against a lot of what they are taught

I forgot to list Xenosystems and something by Yarvin. I'm missing one more but I forget what it is. And if I can't remember what book it was then that one probably shouldn't "count" towards the total...

This is originated from xitter and black people in her qrt called her a porn addict for reading those books

HTWF&IP only really works if you have some sort of pre-existing power and respect, like bosses and husbands.
>>
>>24975985
probably because non-fiction is for chuds and virgins in their eyes and women aren't really the types to process data, that's an "icky" sperg trait. Thought idgaf, more for me. I find history and to a lesser extent philosophy (though it depends on the day which one i'm leaning closer to) fascinating. Sucks to be them.
>>
>>24976220
I don't think its that simple, roastie.
>>
>>24976475
What a weird statement. Feminists are predominantly writing non-fiction.

No she would not. Negresses love me.

Would you recommend Hostage to The Devil?
>>
Idk like eight.
>>
>>24975923
About 22 finished. What I'v taken away from usually reading about 40 to 50 books a year is that reading a lot and slogging through many is less valuable than reading few books at the right time.

I mean I guess I could read all of Metamorphoses?
>>
>>24976530
Yes. You’ll either love it or hate it. It’s not for someone looking for The Exorcist pt. 2. The cases become increasingly hard to believe, and concerned with theology / christology. There’s only one “occultist gets possessed” case. The rest of them concern dogma. The conclusion is either “this whole thing is horseshit” or “Only because of God’s Mercy there are not billions of possessed people right now.”

I've been reading for +5 years and it's only recently that I've finished my 100th book

wtf am I doing wrong?

Around 27 which is down but thats because I was reading a bunch of novellas last year

About two books a month for pleasure is not bad at all. You could of course learn techniques of speedreading, set aside more time for books, add audiobooks for commute or walks, buy shorter or more captivating books, join a bookclub, or set 52 as a yearly challenge.
>>
In 2026 I will read:

Memoirs - Chateaubriand
Anna Karenina - Tolstoj
Diary - Gombrowicz
All of Shakespeare
Harry Potter in English

Basically that kid who read picture books in grade school to pump his numbers.
>>
I only finished six books this year. Final report.
>Why We Work
Didn't hate it but makes too many assumptions about people and management
>The Burger King
Enjoyed it but it end up missing the most interesting parts, ends in 1996 anyway
>The Secret History of Mac Gaming, Expanded Edition
The way pronouns are written was annoying but it was still generally enjoyable
>The One-Stop Bible Guide
Not great, too much Israel 1948 shilling. They aren't the real successor to the Biblical kingdom and too much has changed in the region.
>Attention Kmart Shoppers: The Rise and Fall of America's First Big Discounter
Didn't learn much that I didn't learn before. Jewish author tries to fit in his sociopolitical views into the book, should I be surprised?
>The Chocolate Wars
Book on the history of Cadbury (the chocolate company). Feels pretty strong in the first part but extremely condensed toward the end. Could be seen as a cautionary tale when a religious organization focuses on works and not faith.
>>
proudly 25
next years goal its similar
>>
a dozen
webnovels and manga not included
>>
I finished four books this year

>Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson
>Shogun by James Clavell
>Ahriman Omnibus by John French
>The Bonehunters by Steven Erikson
>>
>>24977349
Those are all big books, I'd count that as maybe 12 normal books.
