People forget that her books were really starting to fade from the cultural consciousness. Second, for a group of people who lived a sexual life (whether its active as in having sex all the time or passive as in daydreamer or masturbator), their constant feed of sexual material to their brain will eventually affect their work or something that they produce (you are what you eat).
