Does it ever get better, /lit/?
>>24988450Literally just stop identifying with the ego and its narrow perception of existence.
>>24988456>literally just do this very abstract thing that happens on its own and you have no control over it!>>24988450yes it does. wait until youre not a sad little shit anymore but a grown adult. itll come.
>>24988450it got better for me when i stopped caring so much about keeping up with the peers and when i stopped keeping trash people in my life. I also quit booze and weed and fixed my sleep and diet. Its also important to stop caring so much what other people think and keep in your life only true people. Also, ignore womenSo yeah, it does get better but it takes time though they are still some ups and downs you learn to live with
>>24988461>this very abstract thing that happens on its own and you have no control over it!You're correct it's not (typically) something you can just snap your fingers and change immediately, but it's certainly within your ability to influence. You've been conditioned to operate in terms of negative mental patterns. Stop identifying with these patterns. They exist only in your head and are perpetuated only so long as you give them fuel to continue being perpetuated via your thoughts. Ending (or at least ceasing to identify with) compulsive thought patterns is the path to overcoming the ego.Read some books on mindfulness to orient yourself. The Power of Now (Eckhart Tolle) and Letting Go (David Hawkins) are some good starting points.
It got better once I got myself a gf.
>>24988450Yes but only through actions, even relatively dumb ones. Intellectual life is a trap and a purgatory. If you want to fil gud, you need to do things as opposed to thinking about things.
>>24988450C'mon, don't be like that. The year has just started silly, it's full of possibilities so cheer up
>>24988491dont recall asking you anything
