How exactly is this guy supposed to be a sexy heartthrob?

>leftists in Spanish republicans were analogous to American republicans

Oh, anon. Spain already was a Republic and neither the anarchists nor the nationalists wanted to stay that way. If either of them did, it would have

Yes.

No.

Spain was a republic, not a monarchy. Franco reestablished the monarchy.

Almost all of the Founding Fathers, especially the Federalists, would have strongly supported Franco. Gouverneur Morris was an outright monarchist who said the American Revolution was only justified because the King broke the contract of the Glorious Revolution which his dynasty's legitimacy was based on. Even the most anti Catholic founding father, John Jay, who wanted to ban Catholics from being citizens, strongly supported the monarchy in Spain, so much that he became America's ambassador in Spain in spite of his strong anti Catholic ideology

Okay, Bogdan, but that doesn't take away from the fact your people are horrible, low IQ thieves who are rightly hated across Europe.

Simple: he's correct on point #3 there. And keep in mind this is written by a woman, she would know.

No, because their Franco were people like Gage. See this guy >>25000032 ? British. They would not support a traitor to their cause, you see?

Now imagine if Gouverneur Morris went and hired a bunch of Moorish mercenaries to take the country back for Britain. "The founders would have supported him!"
Think a little harder.

>>25000846
Not really.
>>
>>25002023
Morris would probably do that if American Revolutionaries banned religious processions like the Republican government did prior to the war, and then allied with atheists and communists. Morris literally refused to help Paine after the latter was imprisoned in France (Paine was arrested by Jacobins on suspicion being a Tory spy), despite Morris being the official representative of America there, because he said Paine was a blasphemous radical and deserved it. Morris was a major proponents of the rights of Catholics to practice their religion openly
>>
tbf, franco's family eat in good restaurants
>>
>>25002037
There's a long ugly history of Catholic repression and animosity with the working class and peasantry. If some republicans banned a stupid procession or two, good on them. You don't understand what the revolutionary age was about, do you? The majority of these nations wanted necessary changes. MINORITIES that go abroad to hire mercenaries so they can impose dictatorships is anathema to the American spirit. Tell me you're from Saudi Arabia or North Korea. If you're from the US, you are a sad sick excuse. Worse than Morris

>IMAGINE IF THIS THING WERE THIS THING

Kek Morris was the one who ensured America was as liberal as it was and kept a separation of church and state. He also not only didn't own slaves but believed blacks should be granted citizenship. He also opposed taking land from Indiana and said they should be regarded as human beings, not as wildlife, and he took especial issue with Jefferson's presidency on this count. But your retarded ass lives completely in delusion. The reason Franco won the the war is because the leftists were stringing each other up. Because they couldn't draw the line at killing their enemy, they purity spiralled and started killing each other. In fact this is what started the war mainly, the republicans were too inept at keeping order with anarchists, they basically lost legitimacy in a lot of eyes as a consequence. They were totally dysfunctional. The reason the American Revolution worked us because factions that hates each other with passionate zeal, still preferred to compromise than to kill each other.

You would have to be the biggest moron to ban Catholicism in Spain of all countries where guerilla warfare started against Napoleon due to religious zeal. It would have been like banning Islamic processions in Afghanistan.

Both sides had a lot of foreign support. Both sides had foreign volunteers. Most American Revolutionaries took issue with the British government because they saw it as a foreign power, that is why John Adams didn't see any kinship with the French Revolution. Franco was obviously not a puppet of any foreign power which is why he refused to join the axis. In contrast the Republican would have 100% been the puppet of Stalin and he actually ensured the liquidation of factions that might have an issue with that

North Korea is close o what Spain would have ended up as under the Stalinists
