Oof
>>25004721>using Duolingo
>>25004799>contrarian faggotryIt works. It's a video game I play for an hour everyday that actually has a valuable outcome. Deal with it.
>>25004842when does it get good? felt needlessly repetitive.switched to reading spanish books translated to side by side english with calibre then find some audio recording on ad blocked youtube to reinforce what i read. feels like more progress brute forcing the language than drip fed apps.
>>25004914I wont disagree on it being rigorous brute forcing as you put it.But it works for me.I bought spanish learning books years ago and have tried multiple times but it never held away.Duolingo clicked for me instantly and I've been consistent everyday since I first downloaded it on a whim.I will add I'm pretty sure you can skip ahead units if you feel there is too much repetition, they let you do that with the math and chess parts anyway so should be the same for language.
>>25004842>He does Duolingo for an hour every day.
>>25004721<memelingoUse Language Transfer.I promise you, this shit is a hundred times better than Duolingo. They offer multiple languages, but they vary in quality. The German lessons suck, but the Spanish is the gold standard for Spanish learning lessons.Just actually follow the instructions. When it says to speak out loud, do so. Don't skip lessons just because you feel like you already know it. Trust the process.
>>25004721what the fuck was the point of the duolingo part of the story
>>25004842damn have you learned how to say ‘the bear drinks milk’ yet
>>25004842Duolingo generally doesn't actually work well, it is intended to keep you forever learning without actually learning the language. Spanish is one of the easiest languages to learn though so it is much more possible to learn a basis on DuolingoThat you go to the public library for Spanish books doesn't make sense to me though, just use your kindle
>>25004721Please do not mention Spain, Latin America, or the Spanish language here. They have their own board. (/his/)/lit/ is for the anglos and the jews and the jews pretending to be anglos who don't like jews to trigger other jews because they think its funny.
>>25004721read online stuff or watch anime with spanish dub
