it precludes us from staying in touch with the primal reality of change & becoming. to intellectually apprehend it isn't the same as directly experiencing itthus, consumption of the apollonian drug must ceaseor is it congenial to indulge in psychostimulants to our hearts' content; thereby ignoring heraclitus' moving world for the sake of a still world? but is there such thing? a still world
>>25007370cobbee enhances flow statesergo it's good
No, its just not allowing you to become what you shouldn't become.Other drugs will put you in a hypnotic state and/or make you more susceptible to being transformed into something else or have your self flow into any vessel that interceptors will want to take you, rather than the correct pathway you should take in your life.I already beat you. Why are you still coming back for more?
Stims are Dionysian.Downers are Apollonian.I won't elaborate.

>>25007370this substance is subtly responsible for half of the ills of modern civilization but this redpill might be too heavy for most of you
>>25007650>half of the illsThat's more on marijuana and the other half is women.
>>25007650Coffee gives me superpowers. Without it I am nothing.
>>25007370Pseudbabble. If it makes you sick or something avoid it but coffee is good for your focus, testosterone, B2 production, and thyroid health.
Why am I so sensitive to some drugs? My wife can drink coffee before bed and fall asleep, but if I have any in the afternoon I still feel it at night. Similary when I used to try edibles I would often spend my high wrestling with fear and anxiety and the warping sense of duration, but my dad has been taking them since he retired and he acts like it only makes him a little sleepy. Also valerian does make my eyes heavy at first, but then seems to keep me up at night.
>>25008227There's nothing pseud or babble about it, dumbass.

cool shit, you reminded me its time for yet more coffee
>>25008522>it precludes us from staying in touch with the primal reality of change & becominghe just asserts this without explaining what he's on about or why you should agree with it. you might just as well assert that coffee puts you *more* in touch with The Flux of Existence or whatever. someone who thinks coffee prevents direct experience of the world is either using terms in a private way that needs clarifying or they've overthought themselves into a ridiculous position.
>>25007650Wholeheartedly agree.I tried thrice to go no caffeine - no energy drinks, no coffee, no chocolate. Lasted three months max, but the difference in consciousness was palpable. You feel very calm. Your body is relaxed. Your thoughts aren't racing. Your imagination is extreme, almost psychedelic. You feel more in touch with the world: colours are sharper, deeper; the appreciation of nuance is deeper. Dreams are intense. Them you drink black tea and feel like a paralyzed bug dosed with RAID, and you realize people are living like thins 24/7. Another thing you start seeing is how everyone is literally tweaking in caffeine: always on the run, anxious, aggressive, tense. One interesting thing was caffeine and LSD>LSD with caffeine>More tense, and as a result more anxious, than usual; heavier gastrointestinal comfort>LSD with no caffeine>Anxiety and tension are diminished; thoughts are actually slower; little gastrointestinal comfort; feeling of extreme calm; the experience is stronger than what you're used to with about one tab, that is, you get out more out of less LSDI recommend you trying no caffeine for some time at least once in your life so that you could get a very direct realization of how much caffeine affect mind and body.

>>25007370it's more about tea vs coffee
This thread inspired me to break out this book A Short History of Coffee. So far it's mostly been about how it was insanely popular (first) in the middle east yet was condemned repeatedly by authorities. And that basically after that it was European merchants and monks who brought it back to Europe in the 16th century. That's where I'm at in the book right now.
