>>25009690Every book I ever read as a child. I dont know why kids books so frequently have characters that are complete dumbasses. Makes them utterly unrelatable.
To be fair, some people are just idiots. Like, lets say you see some police, you're a parent to some kids, you have people depending on you, but you let your rage over police get the better of you and you block their way and impede their job, an illegal choice to begin with putting your own wellbeing in question, and furthermore your childrens financial stability possibly in question, then instead of complying with the police, you try to instead run them over, hitting one of the police to begin with when asked to get out of the car. And instead you get shot.Unrealistic as fuck, right? But it could happen. Maybe, I mean, you'd have to be really fucking stupid to get yourself in this situation, but stupid people exist.

>>25010909Nta, but Josef K consistently disregards all of the advice he is given in any moment in lieu of pursuing his own ideas on how the court works, despite having no idea about how the court works. He isn't even consistent in his attempts to interact with the court and defend himself, switching between conscientious objection to the authority of the court and its proceedings, and attempts to submit to the court's system, of which he never understands, in order to delay a guilty verdict (even though he is ultimately striving for acquittal until Titorelli tells him it's impossible...and then he does not heed Titorelli's advice). When the final scene comes and it is ultimately clear that Josef K can no longer navigate within the system to save himself, he ceases resistance altogether when the only logical option is to become the aggressor (physically) to defend his own life. Josef K is an egocentric idiot and I'm glad he died.

>>25009970The bible isn't one story with one plot. It's a collection of many stories with many plots.
>>25010935> I dont know why kids books so frequently have characters that are complete dumbassesTwo reasonsIt makes making jokes easier. And to give children a example of what not to do and why. A third bad faith reason is because the writer might think children are dumbasses so will relate best with dumbass characters, but I don't think that reason tracks with reality.
