Try reading books that you like instead of books people tell you to like.

Its not your fault, give up on reading. Videos/podcasts/audiobooks may be a more efficient way for you to expand your knowledge, and if its about literature as art, then just accept that games are your preferred artform. You are a creature of your time, dont fight who you are.

It's only with literature that you can get in the diversity of thought the one that speaks to you - or rather - that your soul is genuinely seeking all along and that it is bothered to not find, the boredom is something that you're rejecting because it's not right, not according to some faggy liberal self-affirmation but as your own determination that can't be ignored. Being chronically unengaged as a condition is something that quite intelligent and spiritually refined people can have for years. rush post.

Your diet and lifestyle is most likely completely fucked. Do your research and fix your shit habits. Also force yourself more to do stuff that your mind/body resists. I won’t spell it out for you but just a few small lifestyle changes can make a world of difference long term. As for reading, just literally force yourself. Sit down for an hour, no phone, and don’t get up or touch your phone until you’re done.

Your attention span has gone to shit. Your dopamine receptors are fried from constant overstimulation. Your brain has regressed to a state where the fast flashing lights and loud noises of your favorite video games have a similar effect on you as jangling keys do on a toddler. It's not so uncommon these days, you simply need less screen time.

You need to transition from one to the other gradually, start with visual novels.
