Help me pick my next King book /lit/. I've stopped reading him a while ago but I've been nostalgic for when I was obsessed with his books. The supernatural stuff was definitely my favorite but so far I've read:>Carrie>Salems Lot>The Shining>Rage>The Long Walk>Cujo>Cycle of the Werewolf>Pet Sematary>Thinner>The Dark Half>Joyland>The Outsider
>>25039230hang on, I've got some notes he made towards a sequel to The Regulators
>>25039230have you ever gasped in fright when reading one of those?
>>25039252No, but (most of the time) he maintains a good sense of tension and keeps/kept me on the edge of my seat while reading
>>25039230Don't forget the short story collections, Night Shift and Skeleton Crew especially.
I love Tommyknockers, first time I actually felt dread when the entire thing goes to shit and the despair of the characters
>>25039230Misery is really good but not supernaturalIf you're down for a long book I really enjoy It
>>25039230Desperation is pretty good. It screwed me up at a pivotal time in my life.
>>25039691I used to devour King novels like the best junk food I'd ever tasted but something about that book just put me off. I never even got more than 1/4 into it before becoming incredibly bored.
>>25040138well the last 75% is really good
>>25039691tommyknockers is underrated and a favorite of mine for personal reasons. bobbi and gardener's relationship reminded me of a real life relationship i had with a woman while i was reading it and ultimately in a strange way the book would go on to predicted how our relationship would end years later
