Does anyone have book suggestions for the origins of government and politics. It can be more practical or theoretical/philosophical but besides Hobbes (who I haven't read yet - where do I start with him?) I have no idea who else to look for. I guess this topic touches on society and human nature too. If you have a graphic or any suggestions of authors and works to look at that'd really be great. Thanks!
>>25040883Plato's Republic book 2 + the myth of the reversed cosmos in the Statesman + Protagoras' myth in the Protagoras; Aristotle's Politics book 1; Hobbes' Leviathan Part 1; Locke's Second Treatise of Government ch. 1-9; Rousseau's Second Discourse (on Inequality). And for a Biblical reflection on this, see Genesis ch. 3-4, 6, 9, and 11.

I’ve got these two. I’m yet to read them though.
