the count of monte cristo

i committed to reading at least one chapter a week every saturday like a saturday morning cartoon and make it this long running episodic thing. but after a year of it i got fucking sick of it and became a massive chore and it felt like such a weight off when i decided to drop it and just read something i wanted to read instead.

the bits around the prison and jailbreak were admittedly kino but that was so long ago and i'm just reading endless chapters of this guy wanking around paris being super smart and mysterious and bemusing all the normies and i don't even remember who half of them are by this stage

War & Peace. The most boring shit I've ever read, and I finished Middlemarch.

Random book I saw on a chart "The meat market" dropped it after like 2 pages. It literally has 3 random quotes at the start of every chapter (Ranging from Nietzsche to Yoda...) and the chapters are like 4 pages max.

Some pdf of A Basic Introduction to Calvinism. I read halfway through and skimmed the rest. I think I get the gist of it.
