/lit/'s incessant nagging that I start with the Greeks did nothing to make me want to start reading them. It ended up being Michael Sugrue's lectures on YouTube that sparked my interest in Plato's work.

Here's a taste:

Here's the full set of lectures:

What are some other good lectures and/or discussions on Plato's Dialogues that will provide more insight?

You can just read them
Don't waste your time with lectures

What you mean is I *could* just read them and the condition is that I not care about deepening my understanding of them by listening to another's interpretation, which I do.
But I'm sure it would be a waste of time for someone as wise as you to listen to what anyone has to say but Plato himself.

Anyone who has read Plato knows lectures are a waste of time and unless you have already read Plato.

That sounds incredibly gay but there are three movie versions of Plato’s dialogues.
