Which romance language(s) is(are) worth learning in your humble opinion?
Romanian
>>25084004Your image is missing Catalan which is another major romance language.
Spanish obviously since it's spoken in so many countries, French second maybe since it's also spoken in some african and caribbean countries
Most of the people who speak those languages won't care if you're a foreigner who also speaks it because it's so common, but if you learn Romanian and visit there they will adore you, it would be like visiting Thailand or the Philippines except the girls are white.
>>25084014>your image is missingLombard, Venetan, Aragonese, Occitan (with its many varieties), Romansh, Sicilian, Neapolitan, Sardinian, ...
>>25084004>the most profitable langue on the list is also the ugliest-soundingFuck this gay earth.Inb4 English ain't so beautiful either, yeah I know.
There's too many of them. They should all just consolidate to Spanish and French (the only relevant ones).
>>25084014I'm a Catalonian, and catalan is not even close to being a mayor language. That said Catalonian literature sucks ass, even the biggest independentists I have meet admits this, even our best work "Tirant lo blanch" is actually Valencian and it's a controversial topic if Valencian is a dialect of Catalan or a different language. The worst part of Catalonia is the language
>>25084004Do you find beaners hot?If so, SpanishIf not french
>>25084004Romanian
Only portuguese and italian. Reasons: Camões and Alighieri
>>25084014Catalunyans really are the greatest and most intellectual, culturally interesting, culinarily inventive, socially enlightened, and independent thinking among the peoples of the Iberian peninsula. Too bad they got CONQVERED by Castillan BVLLS who keep their evil Francoist boots firmly pressed on waifish Catalonian frames so their soft pale bellies press, flatten against the ground like overfilled water balloons wherefrom muffled gurgling cries of enlightened secularism and the treachery from republican co-conspirators
Italian is the only one that has some artistic accomplishment. French is the only one that has some intellectual accomplishment.
>>25084409*dribble out on to the hot, dry ground of the Bullhide
>>25084058Better idea: they all consolidate into Latin.
>>25084465in fact betta
>>25084004Each will be good for your brain.
Italian because Italy is the only one of those countries worth visiting
French because at least they are curious and translate stuff from all over the world.
>>25084004French is the only correct answer.
>>25084098this is /lit/, give literary reasons and not what warms your tiny 2-inch brown pecker
>>25084115>Alighieri>italian
Corsican if you want to live on an island paradise.
>>25085474does he speak another language because it's not modern italian? suck my dick pedant faggot
>>25084004Italian considering it's a given that White literate people already know French from their formative years.
>>25084014Catalan is a retarded languageIt's just Spanish but they add x and other random letters in the middle of words for no reason, it doesn't even derive etimologically from anythingIt was created by the retarded independents to feel special and cool, it's basically a fake language because Catalonians can't fucking accept they're Spaniards and not some magical new race of human beings
>>25084004Moldovan
Depends on your goals and what exactly you mean by "worth" learning, but French and Spanish would definitely open the most doors. Especially Spanish as it seems to have the most mutual intelligibility between the romance languages, whereas French is harder to understand and be understood due to its Germanic influence.
>>25085663I might be wrong but Inferno was written in Latin.
>>25087268No it's written in the tuscan vernacular of the time, that dialect morphed into modern Italian, It's way closer to modern Italian than to LatinThat said learning Italian to read Dante in the original is a bit like learning modern English to read middle english poems, there's a lot you are not going to understand
>>25084409You gotta make shorter sentences
>>25084004The US will be majority Spanish speaking in the span of a generation so definitely thatSince we are in the literature board I'd say the French have the widest range of worthwhile lit to check out
>>25087268You are embarrassingly wrong and I have no clue where you could have possibly got such notion in the first place
>>25085467that is a literary reason. perhaps even the most literary.>>25087619it's not so bad an assumption. it's famously and pointedly not, but the reason that's famous is that latin was standard and presumed.
>>25084004Once Gypsies hear you speak Romanian, you will become untouchable becauce they will consider you too poor for robbery
>>25088499>Gypsies*Romani
>>25088499>>25088919what’s the difference between romanian and romani?

>>25089460-an
>>25089460An an
>>25085868It has a more recent common ancestor with French than Spanish.
>>25089460Romanian is a Romance language, Romani is an Indo-Aryan language.
