>>25085765French translations of books/stories you know
My first two books in French were Le Petit Prince and L'étranger. Next up is La Planète des singes by Pierre Boulles. If you are beginning to read in French I recommend starting with children's picture books before reading any of these, the pictures and repetition of vocabulary make them much easier to grasp. Think of the Little Golden Books in English. I read a dozen of those and by the last one I could read the whole book without looking up anything. If there are too many words you don't understand in those, go back to basic grammar and vocabulary before picking up a book again.

In any case it still wouldn't explain your previous statement, quite is completely delusional history wise. >literature

Probably some simple picture book from government mandates to learn the other national language. I don't know much French regretfully, but I would much rather learn it than the disgusting Chink language which infests my homeland.
