I'm mexican and have never heard of anything that catches my attention in Spanish language literature other than Borges or Cervantes. Heard of Juan Rulfo but I can't think I will relate to his stories at all, like they are dramas of the mexican revolution era? the fuck I know about that? I've always had AC, books, education. The psychology he might show there I don't think will even feel from the same species. These may sound like a lot of words to not read it but, I might as well read it at some point I don't think it will be that bad. That said I hate "Spain's spanish", sounds too damn gay, would only bear it from something from the 16th century
