The eternal debate
>>
ye gods, this is what they teach children these days, isn't it. it's called PEDAgogy for a reason. women should never have been allowed in education, either. we feed our children to the sadistic schoolmarmish harpies that are genuinely ignorant enough to believe this tripe

based take on the inherent problem between two philosophies that always guarantee net positive benefits.

Fictional non-fiction.
>>
why not both
>>
>>25092653
Shit like this in grade school ruined non-fiction for me as a kid.
Genuinely, this was almost as ruinous for my childhood development as the introduction of internet pornography. I had to ease my way into non-fiction unconsciously by reading books about serial killers (went through that phase) and didn't even fully realize that I preferred non-fiction until well into adulthood- despite how much I loved documentaries as a kid.
Hate this shit.

As it turns out, there's no rule that provides you from reading both.

You know what's up, it can be remarkably kino

If I had to choose? Nonfiction.
I don't like the idea of choosing though, because some ideas are presented very well in fiction.

>nonfiction = not enjoyable
>fiction = not a potential source of facts
idk sounds pretty dumb to me

Surely you meant to say neither

I don't understand. What is the debate?
Is there a law in any country that forces you to read only one type of book and prohibits you from reading another?
>>

Reading non-fiction is a pragmatic exercise in that it can increase your knowledge of the world around you.
Reading fiction, curiously enough, is also pragmatic because television and cinema are irredeemable shit anymore.
