I’m writing something post apocalyptic. In your opinion, what would’ve been a good year for the world to end? I’ve got a few dates picked out.
2013, 2016, 2019, or 2024?

I like the idea of the world ending in 1999 before the millennium. There was a cool blend of early each and soulful designs that we simply don't have anymore.

i tend to prefer post-apocalyptic settings like "a canticle for leibowitz" or "riddley walker," i.e., settings that place the apocalypse far in the past
