...while listening to an audiobook in the original language. I actually find this greatly enhances the experience, and the best example I found thus far is reading Nabokov's translation of Eugene Onegin while listening to the Russian audiobook. While Nabokov's translation is largely unreadable on its own, the verse of the book is so delectable that you can hear the rhyme and wit through it while reading the translation and I find myself laughing at the humor a lot more.

You guys should try this sort of thing. If you don't use audible then pirate from audiobook bay

i listened to a bunch of old vinyl recordings called (somewhat cornily) the Cambridge Treasury of English Prose, which featured cambridge professors reading excerpts from the 16th through to the 19th century, and it's immensely improved how i read english since then. i'm a native english speaker, but there are certain cadences and patterns of emphasis that i suppose have died out in contemporary speech and really must be heard before you can internalise them and recognise them in older texts. i think the recordings are all on youtube, or at least the internet archive. highly recommend.

... yes, I'd like to report someone for being totally not based

The last time America had formal cadence for speech and patterns of emphasis was the transatlantic accent, which was also the defaut accent of the stage

Wish this was a real painting and not AI
>>
>>25124825
Dude, a quick reverse image search would have shown you this is a painting by Ron Schwerin. He did a lot of nudes.

Post body mass index.
>>
>>25124825
It's a real painting but if you are too senseless to even notice the difference between a painting featuring clear brushstrokes and handwork, and much more streamlined digital art, even when the resolution is high enough, then why would it even matter if it's AI? You obviously can't appreciate why AI is inferior
>>
>>25125501
You think you can't get the exact same thing with AI lmfao?
>>
>>25125632
No, I don't think AI can paint or creature realistic paint texture. AI is limited to digital
>>
>>25125641
This picture is digital too moron. And if you want to put it on the wall to admire the "texture" a Chinese slave can copy it 1:1 for like $10.
>>
>>25125649
You can see paintbrush texture in a photo of a painting with decent resolution unless you are an NPC
