Now that I've finished the best novel of the 20th century and the best novel of the 21st century (thus far), where do I go from here?

try this one. there's a lot going on here, including a strong anti-war message. the summary on amazon is more detailed than the summary on goodreads btw

You could try to sink your teeth into FW, but I doubt you'll enjoy it as much as Ulysses. As for Pynchon, his other 21st century novels are nowhere near as good as AtD, but it's still Pynchon. Might as well read them while we wait for his rumoured posthumous novel.

He is still alive.

I finished FW this year already. I enjoyed the experience, insofar as it was one, but Ulysses to me is still the supreme goat. I'm definitely interested in checking out Pynchon eventually though.

Rumours say that his last novel will be released posthumously to give his grandchildren more money or someshit. Or maybe drive the interest up. Saw it floating around on /lit/ a while back.

I can tell from the covers that these were written by "sensitive" (read: weak) people.

Wordcels are embarrassing.

You are responsible for turning literature into a foidy whinefest by reading physical and spiritual weaklings.

This idea of rating literature and canon is straight out of a book seller's wet dream and can only lead to anons reading and discussing the same shit all the time.

Can I get a QRD on Kang? Is she actually good?
>>
>>25128804
I've only read Vegetarian and Human acts. Vegetarian was pretty good, it went places I didn't expect it to go. Human Acts was excellent and delivered on all fronts.

In Search of Lost Time and Austerlitz?
>>
>>25128528
Petersburg is brilliant but Ulysses is better are better. For 21st century? I never read it but dos it match up to Austerlitz, 2666, Soumission or even The Pale King?
