I want to debate Christians/Theists of Abrahamic convictions on this particular topic.

Christianity (and other Abrahamic faiths) are predicated on saving one's soul from eternal damnation.

It seems to me, at the innermost part of it, the only real reason or driver most people are of the faith is to avoid purgatory or go to heaven, or both.

Therefor, where does this place people who are not, have not and never have been made aware of God's Gospel.

Person who never has received the gospel sits idle; to a Christian or a Muslim it is mandatory to inform them of the gospel to save their souls.

But to the other person, it's either one of the two; if this person who has never received the Gospel dies, they will not receive divine salvation, and they are completely blameless and innocent of this 'sin' for such an evil 'god' that punishes blameless souls with purgatory.

The chink here is that if innocent souls that had never received the gospel are not worthy of divine punishment for sins they did not commit, then the burden of pigeonholing them into it falls into the followers of the faith, those who spread the Gospel.

if this person receives the gospel from those people of the book, then this person has been implaced into the dilemma of either embracing the light of the lord and his faith to save their souls.

What is the morality of revealing the gospel to someone ignorant of it, if this places this lost soul into the dilemma of eternal damnation or salvation? And if this 'dilemma' never existed and all souls who depart never having received the gospel are damned, then what kind of evil god is it, the one who claims to have bountiful love and mercy?
