And that you kinda have to be stupid to be a person of action because such a person primarily acts on emotion and their thoughts fall in line with their emotions because they're stupid. While the intelligent person overthinks things and most of the time their thoughts don't correspond with their thoughts on a specific matter. It is a book about cuckoldry in a sense, mental cuckoldry. A stupid person who watches someone fuck their wife is gonna get mad and kill the guy because ooga booga brain me get mad. But the Underground Man is the kinda guy that thinks it is hot because he is legitametly not mad because it would be a stupid thing to get mad about your wife fucking someone when she obviously don't appreciate you in that way. So the cuckold is torn between knowing he's supposed to be rightously angry about this but can't because he's attributing so many thoughts and ideas to it that it all gets muddled but he's still got a hardon. I dunno where I was going with this. I just think about cuckoldry a lot.
