About to start this. What am I in for?
>>
An irrelevant book, since all of his teachings are now so widespread that you learn them from childhood.
>>
>>25150146
Nonsense. The original version is vastly different and more effective, his wife and daughter rewrite it after his death because it was too powerful.
>>
>1. Be good looking
>>
>>25150306
step 1 is be white
>>
>>25150301
Really? What did he say that made them so against it?
>>
>>25150146
It's legit. It's basically 'Applied Social Skills'.
>>
This turns you into a fake social robot if you're not careful. Author had books bound in human skin.
>>
>the secret is to actually care about the people you want to get to know

Gee Carnagie, thanks a lot
>>
>>25150146
Step 1. Be white
Step 2. Don't be autistic
Thats it. You don't need to read this tripe.
>>
people who read this type of slop deserve mutilation
>>
>>25150155
you've never read it
>>
>>25150146
Hey Anon! Anon, I'm so glad you asked that. Really, Anon, it's a great book. You're going to learn so much about success and influence, Anon. Anon, I've got to get going, but it was great to talk to you. See you later, Anon!
>>
>>25150453
sections on how to deal with your wife/women
>>
>>25150453
They cutted whole chapters because of """""sexism""""". Nowadays you can find the original version only on the internet
>>
>>25150146
Read the whole book when I was a teenager. Really it just reads like a guide for how salesmen should act when they want to larp as your friend, but the most important thing it teaches you is that if you want friends then you need to take a genuine interest in other people.
>>
>>25150453
It's on wikipedia
>>
>>25150146
It gets a bad rap for some reason, but the basic message is very sincere and well-meaning. At least it was the old copy I read from 50 years ago. The advice throughout is on how to be a person others enjoy being around (be appreciative, stop living from your ego, etc). It wasn't the manipulative or cynical read I was expecting at all.

>>25150453
A chapter on nagging wives and various politically incorrect anecdotes sprinkled throughout.
>>
>>25150146
A waste of time.
>>
>>25150515
People with the 'tism often need instruction on what is socially appropriate or not. They don't realize they should have been observing and imitating their peers all along.
>>
>>25150146
Read the original. It is light years better.
>>
>>25150146

>7. Read a good book on the sexual side of marriage
wtf? why not just tell me how to fuck instead of offloading that responsibility onto another book? lazy ass bs
>>
>>25150301
Got a copy of the original. Leave it to fucking women to curate it.
>>
Outdated crap from someone who already had it made.
>>
>>25150146
Extremely good book and still valuable, because the basics always apply. Also two surprising examples of how people see themselves. You'll love the stories about Al Capone and (can't remember his name) who was apparently one of the meanest psychopaths ever to come out of NYC.
>>
>>25150146
How to corporate sales for dummies. Corporate sales, not sales like car sales. You won't get far being a sleazy car salesmen.

what
>>
>>25153655
Just one book actually.
>>
>>25153658
Quantity isn't the main issue here
>>
>>25150862
I know you're being silly but I still feel somehow pleased, reading that. What do you carry in the linotype department?

>Step 1. Be white

Yes but how? If you're a real tist you need tistic instructions on how not to be tisting. This book has that. Fecking genius.

On Anna’s archive
>>
>>25150146
I read it and I still have no friends, but I do have frens =)
>>
>>25153672
It's unlike that he killed the man and skinned him afterward.

The book was about Lincoln and he wanted it bound in a black man's skin. He probably bribed a mortician for access to a dead black dude, which was illegal in 1932 but not that hard to get away with.
>>
>>25153700
Okay, I looked it up and apparently Dale got the skin from a black guy at a Baltimore hospital and got it tanned by the Jewell Belting Company. Kind of nuts. I assume the black dude was deceased at the time of flaying, but that's not mentioned.
>>
What is elitist equivalent of this book? I have no desire to make friends with the dull managerial class. I want to develop a regal essence that exudes refinement and status.
>>
>>25154250
with or without human skin binding?
>>
>>25150146
+1 to rizz
>>
>>25150987
the Japanese edition of this book is really popular. I bet it has the sexism, still.
>>
>>25150146
every time someone calls me by my name too much, I know that they either read this book or took advice from it, and they want to buy into me, so I always act more aggressive towards them each time they do it
>>
>>25150146
>The Only Book You Need
I never noticed this subtitle before. This is obviously false. The book will teach you how to be a sycophantic doormat.
But if you push it in slowly enough and really make an effort to absorb the entire butt plug, you too can orgasm from your prostate alone.
>>
>>25150146
Charlie Kirk probably read this at 16, and look what happened . .

Shit doesn't work as well anymore because it's now associated with salesmen and MBA parasites.
For example people hate it when you use their name all the time. One of my zoomers absolutely chimps out when customers do it to her
>>
>>25150146
Stuff someones fatass narcissistic boomer uncle who works in construction would think is gay and for suckers
>>
>>25154250
Well if you read thus spake zarathustra the first chapter is called the three metamorphoses and the lion camel and child sync up with the 4 books in it, but that whole section is written in obscurantist language, I dont read a lot on aesthetics I only read that, its so on the nose and its so grossly superficial they dont bother mentioning it I guess, thats why you have an interpretation of it in this book and you always have fat slobs panning it, that was what I saw that relates to other literature
>>
I had to read this for a telemarketing job
>>
>>25159060
Based uncle. He’d be right, anon.
>>
>>25150462
That was a book about lincoln bound in nigger skin
>>
>>25155747
Fine im charlie kirk then
>>
>>25151031
Having a genuine interest in other people doesnt mean they will have any interest for you at all
