If you read dark romance you will find the way that SOME women feel about sex or romance, Also fantasy can be helpful on how the author seems herself, men, romance, death, philosophy and any mayor situation because fantasy has a lot of variety. And you will find some women agreeing or disagreeing, but reading different authors can give you some actual hints on how they as a gender stratus might see stuff, like seeing the other face of the collective unconscious. Also learning to differentiate the male gaze vs the female gaze on a variety of situations can be helpful.
