>>25161294never thought about it let alone tried to "accomplish" any length of reading time, but i used to read until i fell asleep
>>25161294When I was a kid and home with the flu, I read the first two Harry Potter books in the same day. However long that took.
>>25161331Pretty good
>>25161301Like the book on your face kind of alseep?
>>25161337Gotta do something when you can't really leave the bed (or don't want to) and are too young to jerk off lol
without breaks? around 40 min, then 30 min of tiktok rinse and repeat.
>LOOK AT ME SO SMART AND INTERESTING
>>25161294One time I forgot I needed to read a book for college until the day before I needed to have it done for class so I spent 10 hours straight to get through it. Anyway, I'd be much more impressed to see this fat fuck complete a 72-second walking marathon.
Donoghue could neverlole
>>25161294I read 3 hours straight once.
>>25161294maybe like 4 hours when it's real good.
7 hours, I read Episode 15 from Ulysses in one sitting the second time around and I read it quite slowly, on purpose, I was pretty tired too, I felt very… febrile afterwards, like I was going to go schizo with hallucinations and the like.
Six or seven hours maybe. I can only do this with trashy books though. The kind of book you can read while zoning out for a few chapters and not miss anything. If it's something more technical I take a break every chapter.
>>25161946How long are these trashy books?
>>25161294When I was 15 I read the 5th Harry Potter book in less than 2 days. Didn't eat, didn't sleep. Never picked up a Harry Potter book ever again, lol.
>>25161950I was referring to chinese web novels, which often span more than 1k chapters. Sometimes 2k, even.
>>25161995Why torture yourself?
>>25161964Grotesque, I hear it’s the longest one too. And I can think of better ways to spend my time than reading about gay magic schools casting spells and being gay for two days straight.
>>25161946It took me two or three months to read a 2000+ chapter ~5 million word webnovel
>>25162039I was 15
>>25161294Lying fat fuck boomer slept through half of it
>>25161294I only read in 10 minute intervals, then I get up and walk around for 5 minutes thinking about what I just read. Stagnant bodies produce stagnant thoughts.
>>25162375Huh, I do that too actually, I read for longer than 10 minutes at a time though. I just never cared to think that it was beneficial, I suppose it is though. But I always stand up and walk around when I’m thinking.
>>25161294I always read the first 100 pgs of a new book very fast but then lose interest and have to struggle to finish it. Bummer.
>>25162375I mean, that is a correct way to read, especially philosophy. Though, usually, it takes a bit longer than 10 minutes.
>>25162647Opposite way around for me
>>25161294When I was a teen I could probably read for hours at a time if a book truly captured me, but nowadays my brain is closer to rotting so it's more like 20-30 minutes before a little break
