I had an odd experience once, just because of how unexpected it was. And I think about it sometimes.
I had rented a hotel room for me and a girl I was traveling with in Prague. We had just finished a week together doing a summer camp in the countryside and had a few days off until our next camp in a different city.
She had gotten friendly with me during camp, offering me cigarettes at the round table outside of the main building at night. It was nice to smoke there with her. She reminded me of the people I hung around with in high school, on the rougher side, kind, unusual looking.
She had metal rods in her back from scoliosis and was extremely thin. Not someone I would usually go for, but I didn't mind at all because of the familiarity. She was also from Northern England so I liked the way she spoke. She would put her sister on speaker phone sometimes and we would laugh at her go on and on.
Anyways, we were shacked up in this hotel in Prague and had just finished molestation, and a guy opens the door on us while we're both there above the sheets fully naked and kind of rocks back and forth playfully while he does little hops and smiles with his whole face. He had to have been from that part of the world, he acted like it. And then he closed the door and left.
I hadn't felt any shyness or anger at all. It was totally absurd and a great memory that makes me laugh whenever I think about it

I'm writing something where two male characters have a relationship that is very close and intimate but also built around something that causes harm to both of them in different ways. People on the outside looking in might see it as an abusive relationship with a power imbalance, or romance, or a weird pseduo sibling relationship, or a close patient-caregiver bond, and it's partially all of those while not being any of them either.
I will probably self publish this, if I ever publish it. I doubt anyone would pick it up and if they did I half expect them to push me to write it as a cool and valid progressive queer partnership or whatever the fuck and that's not what I'm going for at all, even if it could look pretty gay at times.
The idea for this grew organically out of my own experiences during a certain very strange period in my life. One day the idea was there and it made sense for it to be.

I'm really getting to the point where I have to confront whether or not my relationship with my gf is worth continuing, which sucks
I truly love her, and the happiest times of my life have been with her. But we've recently hit a rough patch, and it's been rough for a few months now, we make up, get better, then get worse again, we just can't sustain anything

She feels I'm being unfair, I feel she is. I feel like I can't do anything right, and she feels like I don't care, I feel like she's too negative and taking things too seriously.
It would just feel like such a tragedy if we were to break up, like I would never move past it considering I love her and want to make it work, but it just keeps not fucking working. I don't know what to do
>>
>>25168441
It is difficult, but if you really want to solve this (and you must really want to), you have to completely drop the idea that you believe she is being unfair. You have to smile at her no matter what happens, knowing that she will treat you in ways that you know you shouldn't be treated. You have to provide a true serenity to the atmosphere, almost becoming a non-person
You must become the person you want her to be. Do you understand? When you say "she is being unfair" you are implying that you know she could be better, more whole. So truly become that, since you of course know what it is.

If you want it to work, and you have confidence in this person that she is not flawed and can potentially be rounded human, then you must drop the nonsense and concede silently.
This is very difficult for the modern person to do, because there is not much in the way of reciprocation in this respect, but if you love this person, then love her. Let her be negative and take things too seriously. That is what she does after all, no? Accept the person who stands in front of you and who is in your life, be the first to do it. And you might see that begins to happen to you as well

In the book The Presidents of the United States and the Jews, historians note that Hamilton was specifically attacked for having "Jewish moneylending interests at heart." Unlike many of the other Founders, Hamilton had a remarkably close and respectful relationship with the Jewish community. Because Hamilton’s plan relied on public debt, credit, and central banking, his critics often accused him of being in league with "shrewd moneylenders."
Recent research by historian Andrew Porwancher in "The Jewish World of Alexander Hamilton" argues that Hamilton may have likely been born and raised as a Jew in the Caribbean. He attended a Jewish school in Nevis, where he learned to recite the Ten Commandments in Hebrew because his mother’s husband, Johann Michael Lavien, was a Jewish merchant.
As Treasury Secretary, Hamilton collaborated with Jewish merchants and brokers (such as Isaac Moses and Haym Salomon’s associates), to help stabilize the early U.S. economy. He viewed Jewish merchants as essential partners in building a modern, credit-based financial system that didn't rely solely on land ownership.
Later in his career, Hamilton was the only so-called Founding Father to consistently represent Jewish clients in court. He once delivered a famous three hour oration defending a Jewish merchant, slamming the opposing counsel for using anti-Semitic arguments.

>Jefferson in a letter to James Madison regarding the so-called "Whiskey Rebellion" that Hamilton was so fervent over quashing.
It's interesting to note that George Washington, as the sitting president, initially had zero interest whatsoever in approaching the frontiersmen on grounds of excising a tax. Alexander Hamilton convinced him that if he didn't put the boot on the "rebels" that it would be a bad look for the power of Congress and that lenders might not want to give them more money if they appeared weak federally.

Following the Revolutionary War, the British government actively used land as a tool of geopolitical strategy, offering remarkably inexpensive (often free) grants to attract settlers of Quebec. Obviously a political play from the Brits to combat the founding of the United States. Here's a fun yet succinct quote from an American who left the republican Union in 1800 to travel to Quebec seeking land grants:
>We fought seven years to get rid of taxation, and now we are taxed more than ever!
Funny enough, taxes were lower in British Canada than revolutionary America. They were also mostly indirect taxes; That is, they were levied as percentage collections on goods rather than collected directly by a door-to-door taxman.

can't help with that, sorry buddy. just thought some tidbits about the American revolutionaries were interesting. A lot of Hamilton's political philosophy and strategy are still being used by world leaders today, kind of cool and illuminating at the same time.
i actually do remember being taught about the whiskey rebellion in high school, but i was taught that they were literal rebels who were upset at the glorious and hard-earned Continental Congress of the United States for having the audacity to ask them for help building the country. in reality it was a bunch of powerless, irrelevant farmers that Hamilton used to make a show of power in order to further consolidate the interests of a centralized government

Been thinking about Ralph Eugene Meatyard lately. Photographer who worked in Lexington KY around the 50s-60s, had a day job as an optician, weekends/nights took bizarre photos with his kids in the Kentucky hills. Masks, motion blur, mirrors, voids, shadows. I don't know why but I find his work strangely comforting -- this is someone who "gets it," whatever "it" is. It's uncanny and haunting but it's not frightening to me. Picrel's one of his photos, might post some more I've been thinking about. Apparently his home was crammed with books. Every surface covered in all kinds of novels, reference manuals, plays, poetry, memoirs, textbooks, whatever.

because your jewish overlords determined it to be so. your printer was inexpensive on purpose. here's a fun fact: printer ink is more expensive than human blood which typically goes for about $1500 per gallon, whereas inkjet ink goes for about $5000 to $12000 per gallon.
in economic philosophy this method is called the Razor-and-Blades strategy. sell the printer as bait for the real profit in ink

>Seriously question why is printer ink astronomically more expensive than pen ink or calligraphy ink?
two main reasons (in my opinion): One, obviously, economic incentive. It's normalized that ink is bought separately from your printer. Printers tend to be inexpensive for what they really are: Millions and millions of dollars have gone into research and development of a printer, but you can buy a top tier smart printer for $100 or less. To recoup investments, printer companies raise the price on the ink that is quite necessary for printing documents and is also a consumable that needs to be repurchased repeatedly... classic razor and blades model, common in many contemporary industries.
secondly, and also coupling into said research and development costs, printing requires precise technology. whereas pen and calligraphy inks are motivated by gravity, inkjet printer ink isn't just colored water like a lot of calligraphic ink or etc. it contains surfactants to control how the ink beads or spreads on different paper types, pigment dispersants to keep the tiny particles of color from clumping together and bricking your print head, UV inhibitors to keep your photos from fading when exposed to sunlight, and probably other proprietary tech to make your prints more robust. calligraphy ink is pressed through a pen via gravity; inkjet ink is boiled or vibrated through microscopic nozzles at high speeds. It has to survive being heated to roughly 300°C (in thermal printers) without clogging or changing color, and it has to dry the millisecond it hits the paper so it doesn't smudge at high speeds.

it's just as good if you think I'm an [X political descriptor] faggot and go out of your way to prove me wrong, that's a person taking their time to read about history and create an informed opinion rather than take social media opinions at face value

>What is your favorite flower? What does it smell like? Does it flip, or flutter in the wind? Prefer a drooping or a stiff stem? If flowers could make sounds, would you still keep a garden
curious ask.. my favorites are Tiarella cordifolia, the Western Foamflower, and Lilium 'Casablanca', the Casablanca Lily. i've grown both personally (pic related, my Casablanca Lilies). foamflowers more closely resemble your typical weed in their growth pattern and grow quickly with stalky "greenness" accompanied by a show of delicate flowering towards the end. they're a hemlock, but not closely related to the kind that Socrates was forced to kill himself with.
the Casablanca Lilies, like many lilium, were robust and grew large wide flowers after quickly developing big strong, verdant buds. they pollinated like crazy, I could run my finger along the pistils or even parts of the petals and have a super thick cocaine-like residue left on.
fun story, i have some cats. i used to let them out to lounge in my sunroom, as cats long to do. my eldest cat actually ate some of the Casablanca flower I was growing out there. Lilies are notoriously toxic to them, but I fed that one some charcoal pills and she was alright. still alive and kicking many years later. that particular cat is an absolute tank and now my favorite of the bunch

in the early 1950s, Mohammad Mosaddegh was the democratically! elected Prime Minister of Iran. he was a "nationalist" whose primary platform was to nationalize the Iranian oil industry (read: remove it from the hands of colonial interests and route it towards domestic interests), which was then controlled by the British-owned "Anglo-Iranian Oil Company" (now BP :) ).
the capital B British were unwilling to lose their, at the time, most profitable overseas asset and initiated a global boycott of Iranian oil to combat Mosaddegh. it didn't work well enough, so they convinced the U.S. (then under the Eisenhower administration) that Mosaddegh was 'vulnerable to communist influence'. of course, that is just the dogshit they fed to the public to justify their personal interests (time and time again). in reality, global western interests were pretty smart and realized that if Iran managed to domesticate their oil industry, every other nation that Western colonials had invested in (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Kuwait(funny how some of these ended up doing so despite Western interests and are now independently powerful themselves. also interestingly that Kuwait never did, and is still at the behest of the United States military) would realize they could probably do the same thing.
so, the CIA and the British MI6 orchestrated a coup to remove Mosaddegh. typical CIA/MI6 shit, bribery in paying off protestors and military officers, creating propaganda in planting stories in newspapers to turn the public against the prime minister. this is all publicly documented... it ultimately resulted in the overthrow of the democratically elected PM and the reinstating of the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi with absolute power, which of course ended up in a vehemently anti-Western culture that is still pervasive today

mr buffet,
Times are changing faster yet dna may still have remained the single most underrated phenomena discovered by mankind to most. Also whatever happened to have accelerated or maybe have seemed to have accelerated resource extraction cycles from south america and africa would not have been without interest to have figured out how would have happened.
At any rate corporate media to have solved scarce resources with would probably not have gone anywhere, from scarcity of metals or energy or water or air to those of iq points per individuals.
Time seemed to have gotten shorter on embodiments in general. What would there have been to have seen? It'll be the same sky isaac newton would have seen to have become new sights throughout the ages for whiles.
On accounts of perspectives there's some song by lorde not without sense to have had that stars wouldn't have been "watched" due to how there'd have been much "down here" stated on.
This letter was written to have thanked you via to have forfeited some thoughs some as of the date of writing [age] old man born and raised in [country] to "middle class" parents would have had.

House of leaves? Walden? I hate almost every book posted itt and I feel like it's cooking me from the inside out. I want to like kino things too, damn it. I want to be smarter, faster, stronger. I want everything and in reality, I have nothing. I take what I do have for granted and I despise virtue even as I admire it. I want to be more diligent. I want to embrace justice. I'm a slob and a piece of shit by almost every metric. I read Paradise Lost and love it but it leaves me empty inside for some reason. I love convoluted things and I feel like this board does too at times. This board that's so important to me. I don't watch tv shows. I don't watch movies and I haven't really ingested any film media since 2007. All I do is read.. I carefully pick my words on my posts and check for misspellings and bad grammar, all for nought. I want to comprehend "the love that passeth understanding" but I'm a dumb piece of shit, fumbling at the concepts of this world that I didn't even understand 1%. I fucking frittered away every chance I ever had at happiness and being complete. I didn't even think happiness or being complete is a real, tangible thing. I have wished suicide upon myself since I was thirteen years old and that was in 1984. That's a long time to deal with suicidal thoughts, that I'm a burden to society, my friends, my kids. Yet, I hold on to hope, to a deity that is listening to me, that cares about me when I have no proof of him. To me, the universe itself was the gift to us. It seems so obvious that's the case to me. Yet, God could have died immediately after making this wonderful place that's also filled to the brim with vileness, hatred, discord and violence. I actually contributed to all those things, too. I have visited violence on my fellow man because I had no patience for his cruelty. I will make it to 2033 and then die. That's coming up very, very quickly. At my age, ten years feels like three. So seven years is going to pass like the blink of an eye and it will be over for me. Everything I ever did, dream, believe in fervently will mean absolutely nothing. I will leave behind debt and sadness and I won't even give a flying fuck because I will be insensate to everything. 2033 and my ticket will be punched. I won't miss anything or anyone, not a sunset, not my kid's faces or their laughter or their hugs. My death will be prolonged and in all likelihood, painful as fuck. What does it all mean? Nothing is the echoing refrain that I can't escape. I'll probably kill myself soon because I'm such a fucking weasley, inept coward that I can't face a prolonged, painful death. My three daughters are going to bawl and I'll have to watch it. I can't take this fucking shit anymore.

Sorry for any typos or bad grammar

The median age of the Chinese worker in 2030: 52

The median age of the USA worker in 2030: 35.5

You guys are literally worried about a paper tiger. Stop giving credence to this false narrative of China hurting us. They need us just like we need them. Stop being so fucking hateful about it. They will reject our culture. We will reject theirs. We can (and will) adopt what works for us, like we have always done. They can do the same. They are far, far more rigid in almost every aspect of life. We are more fluid. Both of those things are weaknesses and strengths. If you can't go with the for, prepare to get left behind. It's the only successful way forward. Our govts disagree about almost everything but the people of these nations do not. We get along as best as we can. There is invariably going to be things that irritate the other side no matter what we do. It's not worth killing each other over it. Our politicians in their rush to secure any sort of power in our society will adopt the most extreme positions just to net votes. They're the same way. Our biggest problem has always been that it's a capitalist vs communist dichotomy. Which is just fucking stupid but it's the handle that politicians lean on because most people can't grasp what either concept means, for us personally or the future. I can point out a lot of bad things capitalism has done but I also can point out a lot of good things it has done. I'm so tired of seeing all this stupid propaganda on /p0l/ that any of you with half a brain should be able to see through in a flat second. Control your goddamn politicians. Start at the local level if you have to.

Sure, there are some fundamental things about each society that we may never agree on but none it, absolutely none of it, is worth fighting and dying over. Name one building in the USA that was ever bombed by the Chinese. Yeah, they are spying on us. We are also spying on them. It's all so stupid when you realize most of them are just normal people, trying to make do for their families, just like us. If you think they are some kind of threat to us, you are mistaken. Are we a threat to them? Ask yourself that. I would say roughly 50% if the world hates us and wish to see us eliminated from the face of the planet. It's isn't the Chinese though. We're 2% of the planets population, MAYBE, that uses 15% of the entire world's resources, and we waste 15-70% of that, depending on what resource it is. I would be pissed too. If you found out that say, Finland, was using up 15% of our fresh water and then wasting 70% of it, tell me you wouldn't be pissed off

Pic for attention I hate to say

A feminine trait. Be ashamed

Would you like to swing on a star?
Carry moonbeams home in a jar
And be better off than you are
Or would you rather be a mule?
A mule is an animal with long funny ears
Kicks up at anything he hears
His back is brawny but his brain is weak
He's just plain stupid with a stubborn streak
And by the way, if you hate to go to school
You may grow up to be a mule
Or would you like to swing on a star?
Carry moonbeams home in a jar
And be better off than you are
Or would you rather be a pig?
A pig is an animal with dirt on his face
His shoes are a terrible disgrace
He has no manners when he eats his food
He's fat and lazy and extremely rude
But if you don't care a feather or a fig
You may grow up to be a pig
Or would you like to swing on a star?
Carry moonbeams home in a jar
And be better off than you are
Or would you rather be a fish?
A fish won't do anything, but swim in a brook
He can't write his name or read a book
To fool the people is his only thought
Ha, and though he's slippery, he still gets caught
But then if that sort of life is what you wish
You might grow up to be a fish
New kind of jumped-up slippery fish
And all the monkeys aren't in the zoo
Every day you meet quite a few
So, you see it's all up to you
You can be better than you are
You could be swingin' on a star

Overview
Lyrics
Dan, I need you now
OK Mikey, come
Feel the fire
Feel my love inside you so bright
There's a sound and the smell of love on my mind
I'm a toy
Come and play with me, say work now
Wrap your legs
Around me ride me tonight
Sex, sex, sex
I'm a man
I'm a goddess
I'm a man
I'm a virgin
I'm a man
I'm a blue movie
I'm a man
I'm a bitch
I'm a man
I'm a geisha
I'm a man
I'm a little girl
I'm a man
And we'll make love together
Why does man go to hooker
First of all because
He quite often is not all that happy and sexual satisfied at home
His wife won't perform all the activities he has in mind
And most of all, oral sex is a taboo
The woman would say 'what do you think I am, a whore
I don't want to do that
Slip and slide when you're where you like to feel the blood flow
Not to fast
Don't be slow my love's in your hands
I'm a man
I'm a boy
I'm a man
I'm you're mother
I'm a man
I'm a one night stand
I'm a man
I am a bi
I'm a man
I'm your slave
I'm a man
I'm a little girl
I'm a man
And we'll make love together
Most of them come to a hooker and say
My wife oh my wife is she dead in bed
She's frigid, cold as a starfish
They take off the pants
And their underpants
There's nothing more ridiculous than a guy with his party socks on
He dives into the bedroom
He says "Do me!", suck it !
Skin to skin
Honey hold tight
Come inside it's a passion play just for you
Let's get lost in the magic place alone now
Drink your fill from a fountain of love wet your lips
I'm a man
I'm a teaser
I'm a man
I'm a virgin
I'm man
I'm a one night stand
I'm a man
I'm a drug
I'm a man
I'm your slave
I'm a man
I'm a dream to find
I'm a man
And we'll make love together
I'm a man
I'm a goddess
I'm a man
I'm a hooker
I'm a man
I'm a blue movie
I'm a man
I'm a slut
I'm a man
Well I'm your babe
I'm a man
I'm a dream to find
I'm a man
And we'll make love together
We'll make love together
We'll make love together
We'll make love together
We'll make love together
Fuckin' piece of shit
One little two little three little Indians
Suck it firehose

I'm thinking based. I've followed her career since before The Poker House. I always thought she would go big. She's had some duds but honestly, has anyone ever pointed to her and said it's her fault? She can literally elevate whatever she's in, a pretty rare trait these days in actors. All things considered, you would be lucky to have her on set. I have seen a few of her diva moments and none of those are particularly egregious. She came from humble beginnings and never thought she was going to make it big. She was awkward and not really striking as a youngster. She can do girl next door or glamorous vibes and none of it seems to affect her much. Honestly, you could do so much worse. She gets pushed a lot, yes, but the reasons why are pretty clear. Hunger Games cemented her as a star and she only got better from there. What's not to like?

Come back home, scattered parts of my soul, come back.
>Redite vox infantiae trementis,
Return trembling voice of childhood,
>redite risus furens in tenebris,
return furious laughter in the dark,
>redite cicatrices quae sub cute clamant.
return scars that scream beneath the skin.
>Redite somnia fracta,
Return broken dreams,
>redite visiones insanae,
return insane visions,
>redite cupiditates occultae,
return hidden desires,
>redite memoriae quas tangere timemus.
return memories we fear to touch.
>Colligimini in uno corde,
Gather in one heart,
>non in falsa concordia sed in aspera veritate.
not in false concord, but in rough truth.
>Nam sine vobis carmen meum vacuum est,
For without you my song is empty,
>sine vobis pectus sterile est.
without you the chest is barren.
>In me habitat dolor tacitus,
In me dwells silent sorrow,
>in me habitat ferocia crudelis,
in me dwells cruel ferocity,
>in me habitat misericordia lacrimosa,
in me dwells weeping mercy,
>in me habitat lux gemens.
in me dwells moaning light.
>Omnia voco, omnia recipio,
I call all, I receive all,
>ut magnum opus meum perficiatur.
that my masterpiece may be completed.
>Et cum omnes voces meae redierint,
And when all my voices have returned,
>cum omnia vulnera cantaverint,
when all wounds sing,
et iterum integer factus ero,
And I am whole again,
>ponam hunc hymnum reparatum
I will place this mended hymn
>ad pedes Dei aeterni,
at the feet of the eternal God,
>oblationem gratiae inexhaustae.
an offering of inexhaustible gratitude.

Bruh, it's not "transgressive". It's a song by a reasonable band. A pretty good song too. In general The Viagra Boys hit this perfect eclectic drug addled niche of surprising competence, bleak lyrics, and optimism through force of will. At least I wasnt posting about worms eating me and my family, and also you, or the plains of north america where you can pay a guy to get his horse stomp your head.

Life is out there, even sentient life, but where and when is still the problem. 100 million intelligent species in the Milky Way alone is probably a safe bet. Now spread those out by a number of factors and then include distance and time? The odds of us finding them are astronomically small. It's not likely they will find us. And if they're looking? That could be a bad, bad thing. Like the one anon said, these are mostly thought exercises but they are useful in wondering why things happen the way they do. Like, why are they looking for us? Nearly all reasons why point to an unsettling motive at best. We're lucky in that we live in a relatively deserted area of our galaxy and the universe in general. Because of that, life has been relatively unmolested for a long, long time. That also means on other planets that are also in our safety zone, they are also relatively unbothered with things that could wipe out their entire solar system. Which could cause the rise of their native species. I doubt very seriously any of them would be friendly. We also would not be very friendly, at least at first. We'd be very, very wary and we should be. We have no idea of what they could be capable of. They very likely will be capable of things we haven't even thought of. Riding our brainwaves. Feeding off our brainwaves. It could be happening rn and you wouldn't even know it. This shit keeps me up at night. There could be something incomprehensibly massive right next to us in space and we couldn't see it or even detect it. In fact, some scientists believe there IS something next to us because of weird or unexplainable data they get. Think of a deep sea angler but cosmic, instead. Until we get off this planet, we're prey. Everything humanity has ever accomplished will be erased forever.

Sweet dreams!

I’m reading Mysterium magnum, and in it he postulates the Ungrund, which is not too dissimilar from Hegel’s Geist. If you’re interested, read this https://www.scribd.com/document/620669259/The-Ungrund-and-Boehme#google_vignette
And I’ll definitely check out Invisible Cities; I remember enjoying IOAWNAT, it was very charming.
>>25170572
Same goes for you then, if you’re going to tackle Hegel, read the above.
Wittgenstein. Wittgenstein, where to begin, ah never mind, I’ll remain silent :) but I agree with him, I’ll say that much.

>if you’re going to tackle Hegel, read the above.
I already read this one, it traces the progression of thought from Kant/Fichte/Schelling to Hegel, and explains him in broad strokes. I feel ready already, but I can give your link a quick survey
>I’ll remain silent :)
;)
>>
>>25170585
Bingo. It wasnt particularly difficult. The answer is Spinoza, though I would have accepted Saussure with some elaboration, or Grotius if you were autismal as fuck with a poli sci degree. The other answer I will leave it to you to figure out, but that actually requires reading his books. I'd start with Sassure.

Anyways, you're welcome to stay if you want, but in return I'd like to know why you're here. Additionally, if you said you liked Boethius but dislike fiction, that's just bonkers because in Consultations he's literally talking to a made up personification. Calvino is unironically right up your alley.

Sure, enjoy. Hot take but I think I may prefer his paintings over his poetry these days. He’s still brilliant in both departments, but after reading several other English language poets, Milton in particular, I think Blake’s is a little… less brilliant? He got me into poetry so it doesn’t feel right to shit on him. But yes, his paintings are sublime

That's not what that poem said. It said the laws of the universe are sustained by love, and without love there would be no order. This is the classical usage, not the contemporary that's synonymous for making people feel nice, but the harsh kind of love that is merciful because it is stern. If you dont prune your garden, your flowers will always suffer, or you'll be overtaken by weeds. But a little love goes a long way, even if you sheer something off another construct.

Imprecise language is the root of most misunderstandings, Wittgenstein talks about this exstensively in his epistomology. I was saying I have enough love to tell you to fuck off in the hopes you improve; both impersonally, and with enough citation that you can learn from it if you feel spiteful enough.

But, I guess you'll never find feathered equals because it's rare for a mammal to have feathers, and rarer still for one to build a nest to shelter peers instead of your family. Still love you.

I'm flattered to be considered one of those guys. I don't know, I'm kind of skeptical of most things I hear so I like to trace back where things come from and where people got these ideas. So I've got a priority when someone says something like 'Yeah Europe wasn't really a concept until Medieval Christians needed language to better motive them to drive Muslims out of Iberia' I try and remember that, even if there's always a deeper source. Fuck me, I really am trying to get back to the beginning. Ever since I was a kid I wondered 'where did words come from' thinking of cavemen in some board room grunting at one another trying to wordlessly agree on what syllables are assigned to which rock. We were best friends in highschool so remembering how fucking naive I was, probably 100%. I was very wrong. I didn't cheat it or anything like that buy I'm self-critical. That's how I learn (autodidact) but she always took that as being negative and pessimistic. Admittedly true. I expect the worst and hope for the best, that way I'm never surprised. She's actually more negative than I ever was and just projected that shit on me because I normally mask a lot of my negative thoughts when I didn't know you. I made her cry with an observation about the universe once. I was 17 and she was 16 at the time. It wasn't exactly bleak or despairing but maybe too nihilistic for her. She's really smart, you see. She married me anyway! It was all so stupid, looking back on it, especially my part in it. I could have done better but hardly anything matters to me. I value my friends and family and that's it. Myself, not so much. I dimmed my shine for everyone I met, thinking I was arrogant and argumentative; I was just wrong. Hell, a lot of people are and that doesn't stop them. It did me. Dead in my tracks. I'm a typical failure to launch guy. I haunt 4chan like a goddamn hobby. You guys hate me too. It's ok. I'm pretty used to it. 2032 and my ticket is punched anyway so nothing I could say even matters. No one will remember me two weeks after I'm gone and it probably won't even take two weeks. Don't do the stupid shit I did. If you are good at something, fucking capitalize on it. Stop caring about who's toes you might tread on. They absolutely don't give a fuck about you anyway.

That's because they went extinct. Just like the rest of the Aenier and their dead chosen eaten by Fenrir and everyone else. The rest of us survived in the holt of the world tree to live another day. It's one of the only religions that plans for it's own End of Days in such a way that plans for another one, and Wagner over here chooses it in his infinite gestalt to try and energize his country! A genius for sure but I don't think he truly understood what he was saying!
