While all you chuddites are wasting time on here, some of us are actually writing things and submitting them to publications
>>25168110Good work anon, but this isn't the writing board, it's the literature boardIf you wouldn't mind, can you share another poem you have written that isn't tied up in potential copyright? I would just love to read it
>>25168110I could submit a scan of my spread buttcheeks to the New Yorker Poetry portal and yield that same reply. It would take all of two seconds and not hamper my posting one keystroke.
>>25168129That would be better than any poem you could write
>>25168152OP far too afraid to deliver
>>25168152Or you.
>>25168110nice. did you ever get published though?
The fact that Honor Levy got published multiple times by the New Yorker before even writing her novel gives me hope
>>25168110You say that as if we’re all aspiring writers here. I mean that’s great for you that you’re sending this stuff to publications and all but you could tell me you’re submitting application forms for engineering and it wouldn’t make the slightest bit of difference. Though, I’m curious about the quality of work. I’d ask to read it but I highly doubt you’ll post it here, you probably would have already. Say what you will about /lit/ but I’m sure there would be some constructive criticism for you, were you to post it, if you can handle the vitriol that often accompanies that criticism (which you should be able to to considering you’re putting your work out there) then you’ll be fine.

>>25168234Use a jewish pseudonym and it's pretty much a guarantee you'll get published.
how much you get paid for that?
>>25168110I submit to The Paris Review despite not being anywhere good enough yet. Last year I got a short note of acknowledgement and encouragement from the editor, felt pretty good. >>25168122You really should read the sticky at least once. >/lit/ is for the discussion of literature, specifically books (fiction & non-fiction), short stories, poetry, creative writing, etc
>>25168289>tries to be smart but doesn't understand how they are stupid>still too afraid to post their poetry
>>25168234You don't have the nose for such promotions anon. Thinking it's merit based in the first place is embarrassing.
>>25168291I don't write poetry, haven't written one since school.
>>25168310Sorry champ, I confused you with OPI haven't eaten my turkey sandwich yet
>>25168312I think OP went awol, they often do when they post something like that. Nervy little bitches ain’t they?
>>25168122fpbp. good for OP but I have no aspirations to be a writer
>>25168316I really wanted to read one of his poops
>>25168110crossing my fingers for you anon, good luck >>25168289whoa personalized paris review rejection? damn nice
>>25168110jews jews jews jews. not playing your jewish games
>>25168283Fat wads.
>>25168273Jewish people tend to think I’m one of them. Should I try to pull it off?
