How to stop being stupid? Is there a book that can make you smart?
>>
>>25171970
if youre brown, no. go watch anime or youtube
if youre white, start with the greeks
>>
Reading doesn’t make you smart, it can make you knowledgeable and erudite if you’re already smart enough to retain it.
>>
>>25171982
so how do you become smart?
>>
>>25171989
It’s inherent, you can be smart but uneducated and inarticulate. You can be average but educated and have great rhetoric or articulation skills. You can’t be dumb and have that though.

You want to appear smarter, not be. It's easy: read the "smart" books and post here to get validated or abase others

First—drop the idea that you’re “stupid.” That label is not only inaccurate, it actually makes learning harder. What people usually mean by “feeling stupid” is one of these:

You don’t know something yet
You struggle to focus or think clearly
You haven’t trained your thinking skills

All of those are trainable.

Can a book make you smart?

Short answer: No single book will magically make you smart.

Long answer:
Books can make you think better, which is what people actually mean by “being smart.”

Intelligence isn’t just raw IQ
It includes critical thinking, focus, memory, and habits
These improve with practice, not just reading

Reading helps because it:

exposes you to new ideas
trains reasoning
builds knowledge (which feels like intelligence)

Books that actually help you think better

Here are a few genuinely useful ones (not “guru nonsense”):

Learn how your thinking works
Thinking, Fast and Slow
Explains how your brain makes decisions (fast vs slow thinking)
The Demon-Haunted World
Teaches skepticism and how to avoid bullshit

Improve focus and learning ability
Deep Work
Trains your ability to concentrate (huge for “feeling smart”)
Atomic Habits
Helps you build consistent learning habits

If you actually want to get smarter, do this:

Forget hacks. Do these consistently:

Read actively
pause, question, summarize
Write your thoughts
forces clarity (this is underrated)
Learn hard things
math, logic, programming, philosophy
Limit junk input
TikTok brain = slow thinking
Sleep + exercise
yes, boring—but critical for cognition

Wisdom comes with age.
Books do help.

Why are you recommending this? It's maybe the worst book on Jews because it makes it a question of religion

You want Kevin MacDonald

What makes people not stupid is intellectual curiosity. A good place to strt is the natural world. Amateur astronomy is a great hobby and connects the natural sciences. You don't even need a telescope to begin, and even a pair of good binoculars can give a wealth of enjoyment. Learn to identify animals, birds, insects and plants in your area. Just going outside on walks helps to change your thoughts from static to dynamic.
Learn to build and fix things, or make art of any kind. Cooking is an extremely useful art to learn.
Reading augments all of these pursuits of course.

reading anything written before the 1970s will make you smart. before images completely took over language.
it's not really about the content of the book. it's about structuring your mind with language.

Jewishness is religious, anyone who says otherwise is a liar and being deceitful on purpose.

Some of the worst jews have been atheists. Zionism is secular.
