Is the David Copperfield full cast audiobook by Audible worth it? I really wish there were more full cast audiobooks of classic literature.
The audible War and Peace is read by a black woman and she did a superb job except with Napoleon. But world-class reading and voice acting otherwise
>>25172098I don't like audiobooks read by only one person. One of the things I want the most in this AI craze is that it will be able to dub entire books based on voice actors that we can choose and maybe even add special effects like raining during a raining description, this would be so fucking awesome.
>>25172112then you want a fucking radio drama adaptation than actual book, kys midwit stimulation hungry zoomer
>>25172127Not an adaptation, but the whole thing read by a full cast with audio effects. Graphic Audio did it for The Stormlight Archives and it's freaking amazing, if you say otherwise you're just a pseud.
>>25172112>>25172155Have you checked the Moby Dick reading? It's what you want and it's free. >>25172127Don't you have homework Timmy?
>>25172187Where? Moby Dick barely has dialogue though, I don’t think it would work very well as an audiobook. I think Dickens' books would work much better.

>>25172083I remember enjoying the LibriVox dramatic reading (what they call full cast recordings) of Pride and Prejudice.
>>25172112She does voice acting for all the characters very distinctly and very well so that you could instantly tell who was speaking by the voice and rhythmI don't like audiobooks generally because I like to imagine the voices myself>>25172215Not only does it have a lot of fantastic dialogue, but the narrator himself is a character who requires voice acting because he has humor and many other emotions and memories
