I don't read primary texts I only read good secondary texts on The philosophers and their works. It saves lot of my time and I don't need to go through their sloppy writing trying to map their argument. I am currently reading Kant by Paul Guyer and it's way more efficient than burning my hours through pages of critique. What are you gonna do about it philosophy chuds?
>>25172491This is literally just academia. Do you really think some retard in a comp lit department is actually reading Blanchot, Bataille, Deleuze? No. They’re all reading secondary and tertiary texts, then directly cite the primary source that is being used in the secondary/tertiary text.
Well,if you want to become a walking encyclopedia, you should do what you are doing. But reading primary texts leave a lot room for creative interpretation and engagement.
