Essays are the easiest shit to write in the world, just put together a bunch of speculations with some incendiary opinions and call it a day. But who, in your high and mighty /lit/izen opinion, managed to elevate the Essay into a higher artform than it typically seems to be? on a consistent basis I might add. Shit that actually holds up once you go past the basic thought experiment and do a little bit of research on the subject. Doesn't matter what the niggas in question wrote about as long as it's captivating at the very least.
