How do you avoid your ebook collection turning into this? I have problems keeping my collection organized, but I also have no syncing between devices, and most of the time I have no option to make bookmarks, highlights and annotations. I think part of the problem is having a chromebook, but I'm going to buy a mac or pc soon.

Fiction or non-fiction > genre > author > book title

Hey that’s how I do it, separate the fiction and non fiction. I’m not very good at compartmentalising though so it often ends up a little disordered due to my small shelf and lack of space.

I would rather die than read digital "books". Christ, have some self-respect.

You’re an ebook faggot, looks to me like you’re too lazy to go outside and buy a book yourself. There are many used places that sell them for like 50p.

You can check the copyright page at the beginning of the book. That's usually where the book is categorized.

I don't read the top 20 fiction books of the last 5 years like you, fuck off
>>
>>25174090
No I mean that I end up having to fill spaces in places I’d rather not. I know where I should place them though.
>>25174095
I don’t read anything written less than 50 years ago I’m sorry to break it to you.
>>
>>25174105
so? I read obscure books, not books that are sold everywhere, plus I don't want physical books. Discuss the topic or fuck and kys homo.

You’re funny, anon. Keep it up!

Enjoy your ban, off-topic-spamming coombrain.

Did someone shit on your bed this morning? Shut the fuck up, you pathetic loser, your attitude has been foul since the beginning of this thread, you’ve had your question answered yet you weren’t satisfied. Hell, you answered it yourself. A PC would greatly facilitate matters. Now grow up, faggot.

fuck off instead of shitting up this thread further, clownbrained porn-damaged faggot

I do something similar to this, but then I have a duplicate directory of these files for books that I've read.
>>
fiction > century > nationality > author
non-fiction > field > subject matter > author

I opened, renamed and manually sorted over 10gb of epubs by hand. I have no mercy for you.

desu I would've just used Calibre, but my laptop wasn't powerful enough to handle a library that large without catching fire.

for centuries i didnt use age of birth, but rather in which century the author was most active and relevant.
