How come the people from Scandinavia, ie. Norway, Sweden, Denmark, haven’t produced many great philosophers but many of the lands around them that they had at some point invaded and which have partial Nordic genetics have produced a shit ton? I know they have a small population but that didn’t stop the Scot’s or Dutch.
The biggest that I can think of are Kierkegaard, Swedenborg (who’s more of a mystic), Arne Næss (who I’m only counting since he founded the field of deep ecology, even though I think it’s a fake and gay philosophy mostly used to advance socialism), and maybe Niels Bohr if you consider that he’s technically a philosopher.
