I mean more virtuosic workers in metrics, word-music, etc. But certainly TSE had an extraordinary ability two write aere perennius, lines which seem somehow eternal, with that authority and weight one finds only in scripture or in the very best poets. I think the forced focus on /lit/ to poetry is quite recent. There have been threads and discussions in the past of course but nothing so— spam like. Multiple threads daily, that gay little psyop thread that is reposted, insisting that poetry is the highest form of literature or whatever it is.What is the intent of this push? I really only have two guesses.
