Currently in the long long process of learning French and I've been trying my hand at translating philosophical passages. I'm having a lot of fun but also I have no way to get proper feedback apart from AI which I'd obviously rather avoid. Any ideas? Thanks

Hmm, I don't have any useful suggestion to be honest, but this is an interesting topic. I also taught myself a couple of languages by just starting to translate things. I think it's a good method. I guess the way to get feedback is either to send them to knowledgeable acquaintances or to post them online. I did the latter.
