>Just read!
This is such bullshit advice. If you aren't eating properly, sleeping properly, looking after yourself, and exercising, just reading will be unproductive and even counter-productive. Reading is a complex task that requires concentration and, yes, even repetition to get good at. But I will literally read 0 books in a year if I have generally bad work-life balance or possess poor self-esteem. Look after yourself. What they wrote at the Temple of Delphi was "Know thyself," which means to have self-awareness and possess some self-love. If you want to read a lot, first build the foundation of a healthy life. This is coming from someone who just quit alcohol for 5 months after being addicted to it since 16. I can now read as much as I want and feel amazing. Look after yourselves, anons. I even need to spend a day or two a year doing some self-indulgent thing like playing the board games I want, or spending time with family, to be able to feel good enough about myself to want to read and write. Much love, anons. I know you can improve your lives for the best.
