sometimes when reading I start thinking about something else, often it's something atleast tangentially related to what I'm reading. I realize this after a few paragraphs and then think I wasn't rigorous in my analysis of the text which caused my mind to wander. but if I start thinking about something else that's related to the feeling the text evoked in me, isn't that also fine? atleast if I also remember what happened in the book
I've found it only happens, when reading nonfiction, if the text itself is on a tangent.>oh we're going on a tangent?>guess I'm going on my own
