I go from thinking having goals is peak NPC behaviour to thinking having goals is some kind of endurance against life's overall futility. One day I'll have a defined personality or a semblance of true belief, I swear.

I like melancholic literature.The thing that I don't like of it is the fact that, afaik, it relies on flashbacks. I don't like nostalgia baiting in my novels. Also, picrel (probably).
