admit it, /lit/.
there are definitely instances where the film is better than the book

>film
Medium for halfwits who peaked intellectually at four years old
>>
>>25180668
Sure. Any Stephen King adaptation to name many
>>
>>25180668
I do prefer the movie Children of Men compared to the book. Not many cases of this though.

So e books need better adaptations. They need to make a new Timeline.

Sure. One example is :
>The talented mr ripley
>>
Film is for midwits and it's the industry for the jew to subvertculture. The only fiction I allow into my mind is literature now.

The hard truth
>>
>>25180741
>implying subvertculture in literature didn't predate tv by atleast a thousand years
>>
>>25180682
>solves the shaky cam aesthetic
>perfect set design
>long shot to pop the camera nerds
>anti war dub is in it
love that adaptation

You can make a great film out of a shit/mid book

You can't make a great film out of a good book

counterpoint: eyes wide shut

Honestly one of my all time favorites.
>>

I agree with the anons here that film is inherently a midwit (at best) medium filled with a bunch of retarded hacks who believe themselves artists (think Tarkovsky). Having said that, if there’s some genreshit book that exists which has a screen adaptation, I’ll watch the movie because it’s not even worth reading the book.

The Prestige (Nolan film) is way better than the book.
>You never understood why we did this. The audience knows the truth: the world is simple. It's miserable, solid all the way through. But if you could fool them, even for a second, then you can make them wonder, and then you... then you got to see something really special. You really don't know? It was... it was the look on their faces...

>Tarkovsky
Great b8

He's a fraud. Cope.
>>

you sound like one of those morons that judge films by their "literary" value as opposed to the qualities that make them films
