Both are very good. I like hunger more, it feels very modern. Growth of the soil is slow and comfy. I read that to my grandma.

i thought it was alright, but quite overrated. still, give it a shot after his big three if you enjoyed them. you can skip victoria. Wayfarers is one I would recommend, but it forgivably goes on too long. you'll know when it ends. it has two sequels but im not sure if ill ever care to read them. regardless, its a great novel. its kind of like a fusion of growth and mysteries.
