I've heard that scholars and bookworms tend to be cat owners and tend to dislike dogs. Does /lit/ hate dogs?

I don't like dogs. They're hardwired to love you. It feels like cheating. Cats seem like they have free will, which feels better

I prefer cats but dogs are great too (minus shitbulls)

I prefer cats. I don't believe in sociological analysis based on pet preference—something perhaps absurd on this site—other than a mild tendency toward being outdoorsy.

I have a dog who is more like a cat and I prefer that, even looks rather feline too. It’s a jack ruselel. His ears are fucked up so they stick out.
