I love how James Joyce created the ultimate pseud detector.

If you're posting your reading list on social media, you're a pseud. Full stop. Nobody published their reading list in the 1800s, they just read books.

when did he drop the dark academia aesthetics? he looks like a lesbian barista.

i still dont know who this guy is but, despite his faggy fashionwear, he has way better taste than most /lit/fags

sometimes I think if you're a content creator in 2026 you must have some kind of mental illness but there might be something to be said for young people who just grew up around this bullshit, it's probably normalized for them

Surely I'm being baited here. There's no way he can be this fucking stupid.

I dont pretend to be an intellectual, I think about anonymously post my record or read books to be judged. Haven't done it though.

He hasn(apostrophe)t read it, that we know.

Nothing wrong with posting books anonymously. /lit/ is good because it discourages clout chasing

What so that larp was literally just all about fashion?

Why did he feel the need to specify Dante as the author of the Divine Comedy?
>>
>>25191169
Just in case anyone mistook it for that musical artist The Divine Comedy.
He’s not gonna read FW.

Given that he thinks Wuthering Heights and Portrait of the Artist need a month each to read . . .
>>
>>25191176
I’m not a quick reader by any means and it took portrait about… 3 days? For me to read. I was a neet at the time granted but what the fuck

The reading level of each of those books also varies wildly. Proust and Joyce are far more difficult than Brontë and Three musketeers. Anna Karenina is also much longer than some of the other books.
>>
>>25191209
Portrait of the artist isn’t THAT dense though; it doesn’t require a month, in my opinion. Ulysses? certainly. ISOLT (select volumes)? indubitably, FW? Well that depends on your engagement, could be a week, could be 30 years.
