When speaking, I often find myself meandering when trying to make a focused point about a deep/complex/contentious topic, because I feel the need to address the common/expected refutations or objections to my point. I need an easy phrase/idiom which quickly says "I understand there are a lot of ideas/expected objections to this point. I will not address them here, but I humbly pay respect to the fact that this topic is much deeper than my current focused thesis."Pic unrelated
