How come I’ve never heard of this book?
>SCP hackeryMiss me
>>25192677Because it’s Reddit trash that yarvin name dropped as a clever ruse to block the most obnoxious lit-tech yuppie followers on shitter
>>25192677His other stories are better, tbqh.
>>25192696Fine Structure was one of the worst experiences I ever tried to power through.
>>25192701Really? His ideas were definitely more interesting than his characters or plot but I didn't think it was horrible. What did you think of Ra, if you read it?
>>25192683>>25192685>>25192696>>25192701Guys what are we talking about???
>>25192710https://qntm.org/fiction

>the authorLOL! It's like Megamind fucked Anton LaVey.
>>25195236Lol
I liked the episodes that are on YouTube.>>25195236Dont be a meanie! Stick to the literature.
>>25192685I thought it was okay. The premise is more interesting than the execution. Maybe that’s the case for all SCP I never read any. But fundamentally how to plan and combat an idea that kills is a really interesting challenge to write about, and a lot of the loops and dead ends in the story are just additional shelters/traps for that knowledge to be limited. Seems like something PKD could have written 1000 pages of schitzobabble about.
>>25195236this guy looks like he remembers the future
>>25195236this man is clearly an unparalleled genius
>>25192677You did. You just forgot about it.
>>25195236Honestly, this is what all SF writers should look like. Those fat poorly shaven schlubs who are balding but won't accept it are a sad substitute.
>>25195236nigga looks like a villain from Star Trek
